Architectural Glass

2001/
Petach Tikva, Israel

I did this for a big contracting firm in Israel. There are 3 windows, two are in the main office upstairs and one by the entrance. I used architectural texts and drawings as well as inspiring buildings and the firm’s own logo to make the windows theirs.

The windows downstairs are totally simplistic but the painted ribbon that runs across them makes them into something more sophisticated and suiting the firm. My idea is always to make my art as something organic to whoever owns it. It has to be a collaboration, teamwork in a way. I don’t believe in forcing my ideas onto the client.
